I’m New

Come be part of our community.

If you’re looking for a friendly faith community with a touch of southern charm, Jenks Methodist might be right for you. No need to plan your visit. We keep it simple and make it easy. The information below will help you feel right at home. We look forward to seeing soon.

WORSHIP 9 am

Like most families, Jenks Methodist is mulit-generational. Our worship style reflects this diversity in age and background with old hymns and contemporary songs, ancient liturgies, silent prayers, historic creeds and kid’s messages.

We celebrate Holy Communion weekly as a means of receiving the grace that God offers to all. Anyone who wishes to participate or abstain may do so regardless of membership or age. Gluten-free options are also available as you enter the Sanctuary.

DRESS

Our relaxed atmosphere allows you to dress as you feel comfortable, whether that is your Sunday best or jeans and a favorite tee.

PARKING

Parking is located conveniently at the back (north side) of our building. Enter from N Fifth Street off Main. This will take you to the parking lot. Enter through the doors under the portico.

COFFEE and DONUTS

We love to see new faces. A member of our Welcome Team will be at the door to greet you. Let them know it’s your first visit. They can answer your questions and help you find your way around. Enjoy FREE coffee and donuts before or after the service, in the Foyer.

CHILDREN AND YOUTH

Check in your children at the back of the Sanctuary and be seated together. Before the sermon, children will be invited forward for a message geared toward them. Then they exit for Kids Church to learn, grow and have fun. Kids picked up by parents in kid’s church.

Youth participate in intergenerational worship together with their friends and their whole church family in the Sanctuary.

MEET THE PASTOR

After the service, the pastor will be at the back of the Sanctuary shaking hands. He would love to meet you.

SUNDAY SCHOOL 10:20-11:20 am

You’re invited to join in one of our Sunday School Classes at anytime, or head to brunch with a new friend.

Disciple Class (ages vary) are highly engaged in servant ministry inside and outside the church. They meet in Sanctuary 1 Classroom.

SOS Class (age 75+) usually study a book from the Bible or use a Bible study curriculum. They meet in Sanctuary 2 Classroom.
